Need a breather? Start here 🌿

Yesterday morning, I paused for a few moments and watched the leaves gently dance in the breeze. It was a simple reminder that stillness doesn't have to be complicated or long.

Sometimes, all it takes is a few deep breaths and a quiet moment to reset.

It made me remember: Stillness is always available - when we choose to make space for it.

Go ahead and try it with me...right now...

Take a deep breath.
Feel your feet on the ground.
Unclench your jaw.
Relax your shoulders.
Inhale deeply and feel your chest expand.

See? That wasn't so hard, was it?

If you’re craving more moments like this, let’s connect.

Reply to this email or book a free connection call with me to explore how we can make space in your life to pause, recalibrate, and reconnect—without overwhelming your calendar.

You're allowed to slow down and breathe again.

Sending love and stillness vibes,

Chris

🌿 Presence Practice

Quick grounding practices to help you slow down and reconnect.

This Week's Practice: The Leaf Gaze

Find a window—or better yet, step outside.
Look for a tree or a plant.

Let your eyes settle on one leaf.
Watch it move. Even if it’s barely moving—notice it.
Breathe in as it sways.
Breathe out as it settles.

Do this for one minute. No need to do anything else.
Just witness. Just be.

And if your thoughts start racing, return to the leaf.
Presence lives in the noticing.

Connection Notes is your weekly reminder to slow down and create space for you. Remember, while your work, your people, and your life matters… so do you. If this resonated, feel free to forward it to someone who might need a moment to breathe today.

When's the last time you noticed the world around you? Not just glanced at it while rushing between tasks, but really noticed it? We rush through our days responding to what demands our attention - the ping of notifications, looming deadlines, to-do lists that never seem to end. But when did you last pause to truly see what's right in front of you? The way the clouds move across the sky, the sound of the rain hitting your roof, the swoop of a bird flying across the sky. Has it been a minute?...

Weekends can get… busy. Especially holiday weekends (it's Memorial Day weekend here in the US). Errands to run. Cookouts to show up for. Things to check off the list. But somewhere in all that doing, don’t forget about you. Make a little space to breathe. To pause. To be.Whatever that looks like for you. Here are a few of my favorite ways to slow down, even just for a moment: Lay back and watch the clouds drift by Take a walk — no music or podcasts, just noticing what's around you Open that...

Hey Reader, Are you out there spinning all the plates—afraid that if you slow down, one (or five) will come crashing down? How does that look? Frantic? Tense? Like something’s always one breath away from breaking? How does that feel? And most importantly...when does that person get to breathe? Chances are, that plate-spinner is you. Maybe this week. Maybe every week. You're balancing family, work, responsibilities, all the things... but what about you? When do you get to breathe? I get it....
